This may seem simple but I can't seem to find a decent answer.

I'm operating on a Mac G3 Beige. OS 9.2. I know Acrobat 8 needs a higher OS to work on. I believe my G3 can go to OSX=Panther. The earliest of the OSX systems.

Is this a good enough upgrade for me to use Acrobat 8 Pro.? Also I need to make e-mailable forms, Do I need Pro ro would a lesser verseion do?

Thanks,
Bruce

Before adding any more to your existing computer you might want to consider upgrading your hardware. The Beige G3 running OS9 is becoming quite archaic and you're bound to run into further problems as you want to add more software and upgrades. It would really be wise to try to upgrade to an Intel Mac running OS X Tiger and upgrade to Leopard when available this Spring. In the long run, you'll save money over tossing it at an older Mac.

As far as forms editing, yes... you do need Acrobat Professional.
