(Acrobat Professional Version 8.0 running on XP SP2)
I recently created some 3D pdf, and asked a coworker to take a look at them - Acrobat gave him a message saying he would need to update in order to resize/rotate the 3D file.
THe thing is, in his help menu, there is no option for "check for updates" so I'm not really sure how we would update him, as he doesn't have any other Adobe software to open the updater with.
any clue why the check for updates is not appearing? I had thought maybe it could be a domain user permission limitation, but I would at least think the menu option would be there even if it didnt want to cooperate...
not sure if it matters but the v8.0 pro was upgrade from v6.0
Thanks
The updater listing should be in the menu. Perhaps the installation needs to be repaired?
