Open up pdf files in Adobe Professional, NOT Adobe Reader

hi,

I just got 'upgraded' to Adobe Pro 8.1.0 (from Adobe Pro 6.0).
When I had version 6.0, every time I opened up a pdf file it opened up in Professional. But now that I have Adobe Pro 8.1.0, it defaults to Adobe Reader! I have tried to change it by doing: right click on pdf file -> open with -> choose program -> browse (to location of Acrobat.exe) -> check the box "Always use selected program to open this kind of file". BUT Adobe Professional NEVER appears on the list of programs I can open it with :(.

Please help! It's driving me crazy! I want all pdf files to default to Adobe Professional, NOT Adobe Reader.

How can I make this happen????

thanks in advance,
jen
