PDF form handling

Hello,
I'm trying to make PDF-fillable forms using Adobe Lifecycle Designer 8.0. I have no problem creating the forms, migrating them over to my web host, opening them, and filling them out. However, when I hit the submit button, I'm receiving error that the "page is not found."

This happens regardless of whether I use email or http submit buttons. I would prefer to use the http submit option if possible, as student users of my forms at my university do not have a default email program.

I should note that I have no problems creating forms in Dreamweaver and retrieving submitted data. However, I want to use forms made from PDF documents I've created in the past.

Thanks for any assistance you can offer.

In order to collect data on a server from a PDF form you need to have a server side script. There are no automated tools for doing this, or much documentation on how it's done. There are however some services out that that can help you. The best is www.formrouter.com.

If the email submit option is complaing of a "page not found", then you have a very badly formed URL. It should be connecting to your email client, not a web page.
