pdf ocr use with embedded image

Greetings,
I need to know which is the API for the add OCR can be used in the display of PDF's from Adobe, and download the SDK version X but this does not work for me in my application.
I can say is I have to make, evaluate or buy? since I only need to add this API to my application to complete.

I have never seen the APIs for the OCR engine exposed through any of the binding areas. Neither JavaScript (internal scripting) nor .COM/.NET) From the developer's perspective I have found this to be rather frustrating. From Adobe's, I can completely understand why this was done.

Entiendo que un producto tan bueno no puede ser gratis, entonces, ¿porque no venderlo? yo creo que habria muchos interesados en comprarlo (me incluyo).
