I was wondering if it's possible to do a MUI version of Adobe Acrobat in both standard and pro?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 9.1.3, Windows

Yes, but they would need to be separate builds (Std & Pro and for each language). As far as I've found you can do a build with English and 'another language' - e.g. English & French, English & Chinese, etc. There may be a 'core four' version (English, French, German, Spanish). For Reader I've heard rumors of a truly multiple language version, but haven't seen any difinitive evidence of it as of this time (I may have just missed it as well*) nor how to build one. I've not found it in any of the 'official' documentation I've read through. And I do not subscribe to third-party hacks to get such things to work. In my experience, the short-term gain isn't worth the long-term pain of managing distro.

For us we deploy only an US English version of Std. and Pro., and eight languages of Reader. And no mean feat keeping them up to date. We are redeploying Reader to 9.2 this week due to what came out last Tuesday.

* My knowlege is based solely on what I know - not some a priori information beamed from San Jose :) So, if there is documentation that I've missed it's simply because I've missed it. Like everyone else, I am always open to hearing what others have done.

Thanks

Hi Doug

You can download the MUI update of Adobe Reader MUI 9.2 update which contains the 9.1 version of Adobe Reader MUI - you can download it here: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4542

When you see the filesize is 22mb according to the webpage, but when you download it then its much bigger. Make sure if you deploy using a service (like CapaInstaller Management Suite) you need to write the HKCU reg entries yourself. Otherwise the MUI wont work

I will try to look at bit on adding extra languages. Just found a post about it somewhere on the forum.
