Prf'l v.6.0 locking on inet

after last "upgrade" started getting message on opening that upgrade installed and restart--all the time. More important when pdf opens online it willnot close without locking system... tried "repair" -- to no avail. We use v.7.0 reader but v.6 opens up in these cases. Pls. help-- need assistance ASAP. Thank you!

Did you deinstall all earlier versions of Acrobat and Reader? If not, deinstall all versions, then try a new fresh install and see if that solves your problem.
