I get the error message during setup:

Error 1606.Could not access network location \Startup. Can anyone suggest a way around this problem?

The 1606 error message is generated when the Acrobat installer is unable to resolve a path during the installation. The error is most typically generated when attempting to access the installation path of Microsoft Office during the installation of the PDFMaker components. Restoring this path or reinstalling Office typically resolves these issues.

I just bought Acrobat 9 Standard and I'm having the same problem. I repaired Office but no help. My old computer had XP and Acrobat 6. I bought the upgrade version of Acrobat 9 standard. I don't know what I'm looking for when it comes to restoring the path.
