Problem viewing pdf's over Remote Desktop

When opening a pdf over our remote desktop connection all the characters on the document get covered up with random colored bars (most of the time just black). You can zoom in & out or scroll up & down & sometimes you will get lucky & can actually read the document. Opening the document on the server works just fine. This problem is ocurring with Acrobat 8. Any help would be appreciated....

Are the clients set to 8-bit resolution? If so, this is a known issue with the Acrobat 8 graphical interface where it renders poorly when displayed in 8-bit resolution in WTS.
