Thank you for your answer on why I was receiving error that Adobe has to shut down. I am curious as to why we would need to Repair Acrobat Installation. After doing this and loading the update for Adobe from 8.0 to 8.1 the problem has been resolved. What would have happened during normal installation to cause a repair to Acrobat Installation? What does it do?
Also, one problem still remains and that is that when you highlight the title using your select tool and then ctrl b to create a bookmark, after so many pages of bookmarking the bookmark letters will run together with no break/space in between. Such as: AmendatoryEndorsement We then have to edit the bookmark and put the space in between the y and the E. The title on the document correctly shows the spacing but not in the bookmark. Help.....Why does that happen? Fix?
There are numerous factors that can cause system errors, including conflicts among device drivers, software, and hardware, and corrupt elements in specific files, which is why the "Repair Acrobat Installation" function in incorporated into Acrobat. Hope this helps,
