Toolbars in Acrobat 8.1 in Safari

Right-clicking the toolbar gives me the same menu I get in Acrobat itself: a choice of action including "more tools", which then allows a choice of, say, Typewriter or Comment and Markup Toolbar.

But I can't get those choices to display, forcing me to save the file and reopen in Acrobat, which becomes tedious when you do it several times each day.

Why offer the menu if the functionality doesn't work?

And now I chose "hide toolbar" and I cannot find a way to get it back.

Any suggestions?

thanks

To return the menus, quit the browser and return to the PDF file.

I am a long-time Acrobat user, an employee of Adobe Systems, and Maine native. I have created training videos for Total Training, consulted with people to help them better use Acrobat, and developed new business for Adobe as a Business Development Manager

The toolbars for Comment and Markup only show up in the browser when you initiate a shared or browser review from within Acrobat.

That's the answer, but it's unfortunate that there you are allowed to choose the toobars yet they don't show up.
