A couple of applications I use daily require virtual printers (like Microsoft Document Imaging). After upgrading to Acrobat pro 8.1.2 those printers disappeared and I cannot seem to reinstall them. It goes through the whole installation process, says it completed successfully, but no printers. Thinking the problem was with my computer I was issued a new pc, but I am still having the same problem.
We are in the process of testing a third pc, and get the same problem if Acrobat is installed first. When we try installing the virtual printers first they install just fine, but disappear after we install Acrobat.
Is there a way to get Acrobat to play nice with my virtual printers?
