I recently installed Acrobat 8.0 (complete load)on a new Dell Lattitude notebook, immediately it started having Powerpoint 2003 display issues. Namely shaking and jittering images, and eventually completely going blank once a presentation was opened. This has continued as an intermittent event, are there any reported problem from the Acrobat PDF default settings and Windows default settings? My peers are thinking Acrobat has change (or taken control of the display settings. I am thiniokng the problem may be windows specific, since I can find no documentation that saya Acrobat settings become O/S defaults.

Can anyone help?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 8, Windows

First try to repair the Acrobat installation. Select Help > Repair Acrobat Installation. If the problem persists, deinstall Acrobat and test PowerPoint thoroughly to be certain it's really Acrobat that's causing the problem. If the problem disappears, then reinstall Acrobat and test PowerPoint again. You shouldn't see any particular problem with Acrobat and PowerPoint installed on the same computer. I have them running together on 3 diffrerent computers and haven't seen this type of problem. If you do indeed see the problem persist after following the steps above, be certain to report it as a bug to Adobe.
