I'm trying to figure out how to create a PDF that I can upload to an LMS (ANGEL 7.4), and that will use the systems user token $USER_NAME$ to automatically fill in a student's name. Is this possible?

A fair number of views, but no replies. I'm starting to think this isn't possible. :(

Is there somewhere else I might post this question to?

A PDF can't modify itself - your LMS would need to treat it as a template (load it into a PDF handler library, add the text, export the file again). You'll need to talk to your LMS provider to work out if it can handle PDF templates, but if it can you just leave the blank space for the text to be added.
