Any ideas on how to use digital signatures in forms for online students? I'd like to think this option might help track/control one student using a document and not passing it on to peers to submit work.

Verifying student identity and validating student work is issue from the Higher Education Act of 2008.

This question also came up in the December Security eSeminar (you can check out the Q&A transcript). A couple of the suggestions were:
- You would have to create or procure a digital ID for each student.
- The document would need to be Reader enabled to allow signatures (version 8 and higher of the Reader).
- You could also use seed values to ensure the correct student signs the file.
