I am working with Adobe Pro to designing a form that is going to be used in data collect. The form itself is already created. The problem that I am having is that we would like to be able to send the document back and forth (out-of office and within office) to be able to comment AND change the data contained in the form. I have not been able to find a way that this can be done. I know that I can send the document to be reviewed used the email based review however with Reader 7.0 they are unable to change the data with in the form. Any help would be very much appreciated.

In Acrobat 7 Pro there is an option for enabling a PDF for commenting in Reader (Comments -> Enable for commenting in Adobe Reader). Once enabled, other document features like form filling are disabled. This is how it's supposed to work. To get other features you have to apply additional rights to the PDF. Acrobat 8 Pro has a feature for this. Enabling in 8 will allow your users to both comment and fill in form fields in Acrobat 7, and to save or email the results.Thom Parker
