I have a field on my pdf and when I'm typing text and hit ENTER, a box shows up on the screen and in print.

How do I get rid of the boxes?

Thanks,

It's hard to tell what's going on without seeing the form. Can you post it online somewhere?

L,

It looks like some sort of font related problem. What's happening is the carriage return characters are appearing as boxes, but not in all viewers. For example, I don't see them in Acrobat 7 pro, but do with Acrobat 9 Pro and Reader 9. However, when I enter new data into the fields, the boxes go away.

If you do not need to use that particular font (Tahoma), I'd suggest using one of the fonts ("base-14" equivalent fonts) at the top of the font dropdown list. This can make the PDF smaller too since the "base-14" fonts do not need to be embedded in the document like non-base-14 equivalent fonts do.
