I'm upgrading a users machine. The old machine used Acrobat 6 Pro running on Windows XP. I have a new machine running Windows XP and Acrobat 8 Standard. I copy the PDF files over to the new machine and the text field data is missing. Does anyone know what other files I might need to copy along with the PDF?

I'm not and advanced user and I'm also having a problem looking at the properties of each field.

Thanks for your help.

If your form was setup to import/export the form data or use a submit process then the data may be in an associated *.fdf file (Acrobat Forms Data Format). This fdf can also be imported into your Acrobat 8 form if necessary to re-associated the data with the form.
