First time user of forms. Seemed to create easy enough, even sent it out and got responses in tracker. I simply want to distribute the form to a membership list of several hunderd email addresses, but I do not want everyone's email address listed in the TO: box. Why no BCC:? I know that if I send the same email to lots of addresses it could be considered SPAM. Will Acrobat 9 allow me to send an email to hundreds of addresses without issue? and can I do it so the email addresses are not seen by every receipient? Are there any limitations in the number of addresses you can distribute to?

Also is there any way to combine multiple distributed forms (same form sent to different subgroups of my email list) so the data can be tabulated all together?

I have searched the FAQ and Blogs and if I missed the explaination I apologize.

I found a great video tutorial and it answered (sort of)some of my question. I also looked at the return emails (with history) and it seems to indicate that that the email was sent out to the individual and not the entire mailing list. Am I correct in that? If yes, then that explains why there is no BCC:. WOuld be good that someone states that the email goes out as to the individual and not (intuitively) to the whole list.

So now my question about combining responses, which now could be construed as trying to be an "end around" on the 500 name limit thing.

What about...is there a way to resend the same form to a new set of email addresses without triggering a new response file, as long as the 500 name limit is not exceeded? Say you added new clients and want to include them in the survey?

Any takers?

In the Form Tracker if you view the Form Response file a window will come up that allows you to update or add additional responses to your file, which is how you can add the data sent to different subgroups of your email list.

If you're not using the Form Tracker, you can do this manually through the Form > Compile Form Data and/or Form Manage Form Data menus.
