Acrobat Plugin can't be recognized and loaded

Hello all, I need your help!!

I compiled the sample plugins from Acrobat_SDK_9 and put the *.api file under the plugins folder of Adobe Reader. Then I launched Adobe Reader and the plugin doesn't work!

However, the Reader didn't complain about the new *.api file. I think it means the *.api file was recognized in some extent, otherwise the Reader will prompt an error message saying that the new *.api file is invalid or illegal.

Did you have the same problem before? How did you solve this? Thanks!!

My Product Information:
Acrobat 10.0, Windows

No. But the *.api file was compiled from sample code in SDK. Do I have to get a key for that?

Also, the Reader didn't complain.

Since your are use the System Develpment Kit, used by only developers, and installing a new feature (API), it might be a more logical location.

You sure do, as explained on the page linked to above.
