Hello, first post here... I searched for the answer first but couldnt find anything.

I made a template for a customer, he needs a invitation in pdf where people can
fill in there info and send it digitally back or print it and deliver back to him by mail.

I made forms wich all perfectly fine... I also added a button to send it. I gave it the command to first save it on the users computer and then add it as an attachment in the standard mail-app. So far so good but I would like it to put in the emailadres where people should send it to... I have been searching & googling for it but I cant find a "mail-to" option anywhere...

Any help on this?

Thanks!!

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 9.0, Macintosh

Hi flox,

Under the Actions tab of the button's Properties dialog you can add the action Submit a Form. When you select that and click Edit, in the Submit Forms Selections dialog you can enter an URL in the form of mailto:youremail [at] address [dot] comEdited to fix inccrrect cap, spacing and missing @ symbol - thanks George!

Hope this helps,

Dimitri

It works bet when I click it in the pdf it says "You need to be running inside a webbrowser in order to submit this form"

Hi lphebert,

This tutorial from the Learning Center has sample Submit Button code that shows how to fill in a CC: Subject Line, alter the Body Message, etc of the email-

Flox,

change the URL to: mailto:username [at] example [dot] comNote the lowercase T and no space between the colon and the email address.

Did that make a difference?
