Acrobat Version Confiict?

I have a form that I created in Acrobat 5. I have a user that made changes to the form in Acrobat 8. Now I need to edit the document and make changes to the form - when I open the form in Acrobat 5, the form edit tools are gone.
 
I checked the security and the open options of the form and everything looks good, Why can't I edit the form now??

Ask the user to go to "Advanced menu : optimize PDF" --> for Acrobat 5 (PDF 1.4)
