I created a function to add a page to a form in Acrobat using templates. Textboxes are added to the form using Javascript and the addField command. When the form is open after password security has been applied, I get an error saying that addField is not allowed. Is there a way to permit this without removing the security?

Password security was applied restricting permissions to high resolution printing and allowing changes to commenting, filling in fields and signing. I didn't see anything that would address addField.

If you check the Help document about security, you would need to set security to "Any except extracting pages".
