I have a dept. that has requested a form template that every time it is opened it has a new "control number" in the corner. (Akin to check numbers in a checkbook.) I already have the completed form created using AcroForms tools and don't want to re-create it in LiveCycle Designer.

If this is not possible please let me know otherwise any and all help is greatly appreciated.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 9.2, Windows

Certainly it is possible. But how it's done depends on how the form will be used.

Fact is that this question has come up in many different ways. With a little searching you should be able to find several different answers. Try searching the forum for the word "increment".

Do this first and then if you still need help ask a more specific question.
