I have 4 different shipping costs depending on location that user selects in my form. What is the best way of letting the user select one of 4 shipping destinations and then having the a preset value for that selection added to 'Total' field. Should I do this with check boxes and Java script or combo box? Help!.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 8.1.6, Macintosh

I would use a combo box with the optional export value set to the shipping cost. You can set a default location or instruction. It is just cleaner than check boxes.

On the "Options" tab of the Field's property, you just highlight the option you want as the default and exit the pop-up window. I have always found this a little annoying.

I figured out and you are correct much cleaner than check boxes. Thanks!
