Adobe 9.0 Forms - Force them to be opened in Acrobat Reader

Hello --

I am creating an interactive form for my job that is going to be downloaded from our website by various people -- and then completed and emailed back to me so I can compile the data from the forms.

The problem is, if the form is opened in Preview, it does not function properly. They can fill out most of it, but it does not submit, and if it is attached in an email, some of the data is usually lost. Our computer lab only has Macs, and since we work with musicians, a lot of people use Macs with Preview loaded on it.

Is there some way to ensure that this form only opens in Acrobat Reader upon being downloaded, and NOT in Preview, or some other program?

I am running Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.0 for Mac, but I also have 7.0 loaded, if that is useful at all.

Thanks for any insight!

What happens when you open the form in Acrobat Reader? Can it be filled in and sent?
