We have Adobe Acrobat 7 Professional. A form said we needed an update and so we downloaded Adobe reader 8. The form still did not work correctly, so we uninstalled the adobe reader 8. Now forms that were fillable before are not fillable. Help.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 7.0.0, Windows

It is unlikely, but possible that the Reader 8 installation is messing with Acrobat 7 Pro. Uninstalling Reader does not necessarily restore old settings. The likely solution is to Repair Acrobat 7. There are repair options on both the Acrobat Help menu and the installer dialog in the Windows Control Panel.

However, I suspect you are missing something fundamental. All forms, unless specifically secured, are fillable in Acobat Professional. Try making a simple fillable form from scratch.
