I recently created a form using Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional, and when I sent it out to my colleagues, some said that the checkboxes in the form vary from having bolded and unbolded outlines. One person who has Acrobat 7 Pro sees the varied outlines, but another with Reader 7.0 does not see the problem. When I look into the checkbox properties, they all have the same appearance properties. thin line, that's solid. Do you know what might cause this?

Take a look at the check box properties under the appearance tab. Under the text category, check what type of font is named. The problem could be that some users have that font installed on their system and others do not. Always try to use safe fonts if possible.
