Applying multiple Signatures

I have been tasked with figuring out how to apply multiple signatures to a form whereby all signatures are valid.

We noticed after one person applies their digital signature, after the next person signs, the signature is not marked as valid. We want all three signatures applied to the form to be valid and after ALL signatures are applied and information is finalized, we want the ability to lock the document down so that no additional changes and/or signatures can be applied.

We do not have lifecycle which appears to be able to handle my request.
What are the steps necessary in ADOBE 8 PROFESSIONAL?

Many thanks for your help!

Here is a link to a technical guide on how to author documents for signing, signing, validation signatures, in Acrobat 8. Here is a short list of what you'll need to do taken from the guide:
1. Document author: Form fields can be ordered, named, and associated with behaviors that limit changes in signing workflows.
2. First signer: Use a certification signature for the first signature in a document and set Permitted Changes after Certifying as needed. The specified actions should not result in a warning triangle to appearing on signatures.
3. Signature validators and subsequent signers: View the signed version of the document and look at the signature’s status icon in the Signature’s pane.

Thank you much Lori, I will give it a try and post again if I run in to snags.
