Auto-advance field forms & Checkbox issue....

I had Adobe find fields for me on a document and now I have it set up & almost ready to go! I have 2 issues that I would like to deal with though.

1) I have several places that I would like to have it auto-advance to the next box. They are numbers that will be entered (i.e. Social Security #'s). I have NO IDEA where or how to do any scripting of any kind so dumbed down directions would be fantastic!!

2) I have checkboxes all over the form. On som of the checkboxes, you can click it twice and the check mark will go away. On others, it will NOT go away and you have to use the 'Undo' function. I want them to go away if clicked twice.

I REALLY appreciate the help!!

Not sure it matters but I have Acrobat 9.4.4 the drop down didn't show it....

My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 9.4.3, Windows

Save your self a lot of work and try the 'Comb Field' option.

For coding this, it also makes a big difference if the form is crated in Acrobat or LiveCycle Designer. LiveCycle designer is part of Acrobat Professional.

I am not sure how that works either....and the boxes for these numbers are VERY small so that carrot takes up the whole box....

I would really appreciate your help. I just need it spelled out. For what I want to do, I am not even sure where to put the script. The script is like Greek to me...I am not sure if there is any information I need to replace with my field names, etc. But everywhere I paste it- it doesn't work.

Here is what I have.

The first section is 6 small boxes. I just want it to Auto-tab starting in box 1 (named group1) and ending in box 6 (named group6).

The other is the same thing except it is 9 boxes for a Social Security Number.

If you can tell me EXACTLY what I would need to enter and where- I would REALLY appreciate it. I have tried to find tutorials online and it still has not help.

Thank you.
