I have multiple name fields in 1 PDF and when filling out i want all other fields to take the data from first field that is filled in. is there a way to do this?

For Acrobat forms, just use the same name for the fields. For LiveCycle Designer, you will have to use the same field name use the "global" attribute.

You can also use scripting, either JavaScript or FormCalc as appropriate, to set the value of the other fields from the main entry field.
