Automatically populate fields in a form

Hi.
I awas given a job aplication file and when I enter the first employer information, all other similar fields are populated automatically. When I enter the second emloyer information, all, inculding the first one is changed or updated to the one I just entered.
How Do I take this feature off?

Did you give all the "similar" fields the same name? In an AcroForm, all fields with the same name are the same field. If you want them to have different values you have to give them different names.

Unfortunately, I was not the one who created the document.
I only have Acrobat reader 8 Standard Edition. I don;t think I can fix it with this version? can I?
I also have Adobe InDesign CS4. I try to open the file from here but it said it can to be opened.

No you can fix it with Reader. You'll need Acrobat Professional, which comes with the CS4 Suite. But InDesign isn't going to work.
