I have an Order form I am preparing for a Client, I'm not as familiar with Acrobat... I have the following formula in the Excel format so that someone can help me convert it for acrobat pro...
First Calc - Sum=(A1,A2,A3,A4)*8 = A5
Second Calc - A6*10 = A7
Third Calc - A5+A7 = A8
Total Calc - A8+B8+C8 = D8

Let me know if you can help...
Thank you,
Brent

Hi brentcorrigan,

There are some great resources in the Learning Center that can help you with your client project. Here are links to a few-

http://acrobatusers.com/tutorials/2006/form_calculations

http://acrobatusers.com/tutorials/adding-formatting-and-calculations-pdf-forms

http://acrobatusers.com/tutorials/2006/tt_sample_calculations

Once you have studied those resources and have tried out some scripts to perform your calculations, this is a great place to post the code you've tried and ask about specifics of why something isn't working.

There are also some great books that will be very helpful if you are going to do more PDF projects for clients- really good stuff for any forms developer's toolbox. Ted Padova and Angie Okamoto's "PDF Forms Bible" from Wiley publishers would be a good choice. I believe you can fins it under the Membership- Membership Benefits tab at this site.

Hope this helps,

Dimitri
