I need to bottom justify text in multi-line text fields in some PDFs. I'm using Adobe Acrobat Professional 8.1.3 (came with Adobe Web Premium CS3). I know how to left/right/center justify, but NOT bottom justify. Any suggestions? Thanks.

It's possible to create a form field with that property in LiveCycle Designer, but not Acrobat. In Acrobat it's possible for an end-user to set it up if the field is rich text, but oddly enough the form creator cannot set it up.

That's not entirely true though. The field has to be rich text and there has to be at least one character in the field by default. A space character will do. You can then set up bottom alignment and save the document. But if the field contents are ever cleared, it will revert to top alignment.

To set it up in Acrobat, enter at least one character into such a field, get the Properties bar to appear (Ctrl + E), click the "More..." button, select the Paragraph tab, and then the "Text Below" alignment button. That's the best you can do in Acrobat, unfortunately.
