Bring cursor to highlighted field

I created a script that highlights a field based on input on another field. For example, if field1 is 1, field2 must not be zero. The script creates an alert that field2 cannot be zero. After pressing the OK button on the alert, the cursor stays on field1. Is there a way to bring cursor to field2?
