Calculate Difference (Minus) in Form Field

Hello,

Like most folks, I'm starting off by saying I think what I'm looking for should be a program default! I need to be able to target one pair of fields at a time and tell Acrobat to calculate Field1 MINUS Field2 and put the difference in Field3. There is a default for sum, multiply, etc. but not difference. It seems like I need a custom calculation script, which I know nothing about. Please help if you can.

Thank you,
Alex Adams

Yes, you need to create a custom calculation scirpt or use the simplified field notation if you have field names that comply to the simple name format. The subtraction operator is the '-'. The other option for calculating are for calculations that can be applied to an array of field names, like count, sum, chain mulitply, and average.
