Is there a way to calculate the difference between a give starting time and stopping time on a Timesheet? I'm trying to have it auto-calculate the hours works. For example: a worker enters 6am start time on their timesheet, then enters a stop time of 4pm. Now I want to form to calculate that person worked 10 hours, and input that data into a "hours worked" field.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Calculations:
I am trying to compute [1] [2] [3] - which are fields in my form for the number of days employee uses his own personal vehicle; multiplied by a specific dollar amount (e.g. $3.00/day) = _____ Round Trip so:

Pay Period: ___________ (mm/yy)

[1] ______ days x $3.00/day = ____________ (Round Trip)
[2] ______ days x $1.50/day = ____________ (One-way Commute)
[3] ______ = total reportable income for pay period.

I thought this would be a simple computation/calculation. Am I missing something? Thanks so much for your help and assistance!

This is a new topic and one should start a new post.

There are 2 programs for creating forms and each uses a different syntax for calculations and automation.

You have to provide form fields and code the script to perform the calculations.

There are a number of eSeminar's on demand on the home page of this site about creating forms and performing basic calculations.
