Hi,

I am after any help at all about putting calculations in a fillinable PDF
I am making a form for my work where amounts are typed in one column and I want it to automatically add them up and put a total at the bottom.

I have been searching for help for this for a while and can't find any easy to follow instructions.

I have Acrobat 8 Professional if this makes a difference.

Thanks,

Jessie

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 8.0, Windows

First, Acrobat 8 Professional provides 2 form creation tools, Acrobat's Form Toolbar and LiveCycle Designer. The default action of Acrobat is to open LiveCycle Designer.

There are some very early eSeminars on demand that deal with creating forms in Acrobat and LiveCycle Designer. Thom Parker has a number of tutorials about scripting both LiveCycle Designer and Acrobat's AcroForms. He also provides down loadable examples produced by both products.

You might want to look at How to do (not so simple) form calculations by Thom Parker.
