I am trying to create a form in which I want one field to equal a previous field minus 10 and then divided by 2. I am new to adobe acrobat and don't know how to get it to perform calculations other than the basic option. I attempted to look up the information on Google however I still didn't understand how its done. If someone could please help me I would appreciate it.

My Product Information:
Acrobat 10.1, Windows

Hi archersweet,

Give this tutorial from the Learning Center a read-
http://acrobatusers.com/tutorials/2006/form_calculations

It is rather old but the sample calculations are still relevant (the main difference being the new UI in Acrobat X so the graphics showing how to access fields have changed).

Open the Properties dialog for the field you want the result in, and under the Calculate tab select the Simplified field notation option. In that text box type Field1 - 10/2
(change Field1 to the actual name of the field on your form, case sensitive)

Hope this helps,

Thank you very much with that as well as a little more googling I was able to figure it out.
