Can form field data entered by user be used to generate live charts?

I have been asked by a client to develop an interactive PDF where users will enter numbers to score themselves in different ares. The numbers then need to be totalled and the totals then used to generate a graph so they can visually see how they compare in the different categories. I do not want to use Excel for this. Will Acrobat handle? Thanks!

In principle it's possible, but the amount of scripting required is substantial and probably not worth it.
If you can do it in Excel, do. If you really want to do it in Acrobat, stick to numerical representations.

Thank you for the FlexChart link. I think I've got enough to work with, just a few tweaks on the scripting. I really wanted to avoid Excel for this and I am not so much a developer, so this is just what I needed. Thanks!!
