Hi all,

I'm a new, self taught user to Adobe V7 reader. I have a form and have completed some of the fields, I would like to email this to someone else. Is this possible?

Furthermore, the person/s I email the form to would like to complete some more of the fields, then save the pdf and go back to it to update the rest of the fields later. Is this possible too?

Thanks,

Julie

It is possible but the form must be reader enabled in Acrobat Professional in order to do this. Once the form has been reader enabled then it can be opened in Adobe Reader 7, 8, or 9 and filled out then saved.

Again a form can only be reader enabled in Acrobat professional.

Thanks again,

Sorry, have just re-read my previous post and my mind must have been elsewhere.

No, I couldn't find where I would make the form reader enabled in Adobe Professional 9 standard. I searched the help menu too. Can you help?

You do this from the Advance menu by choosing Extend Feature in Adobe Reader. The Enable Usage Rights in Adobe Reader window appears telling you what will be enabled. When you click Save Now you will be given a chance to save the reader enabled file somewhere. I always add _RE to the name of the file so I know at a quick glance that it is a reader enabled file. You always want to keep your original file that has not been reader enabled so you can easily make changes and updates to it.
