Hello,

I am following these directions - Advanced > Forms > Fields Now I see the option for Tab Order but it is grayed out.

I made sure the Page Properties has Tab Order of Unspecified.

Please help :)

What version of Acrobat are you using, exactly? Your Product Information implies you're using Acrobat 9, in which case the procedure for setting a custom tab order is different.

If you're not using Acrobat 9, try selecting the "Select Object" tool first.

Sorry about that it is actually Acrobat 7. What steps should I take?

You need to have the Select Object tool selected before you attempt to modify the tab order, in addition to setting the tab order to Unspecified, which you said you already did.
