Cannot enter numbers in decimal places in v6 Pro

I have set the formatting to number with one decimal place for the numbers in a column. However, I cannot enter a value to the right of the decimal place in these fields, only integers to the left.

The column has a Sum value at the bottom which is used in another couple of arithmetic functions. I don't believe this should make a difference but one never knows.

I need to be able to enter numbers to the right of the decimal place.

Thanks for any help.

You cannot do this if you've set the formatting of the number to one decimal place. You have to change the format to the maximum numbers allowed to the right of the decimal place.

This is done by selecting the field, right click and select Properties. From the dialog box click the Format tab, select Numbers, and from the drop down list, select the maximum number of decimal place allowed for the number entered.
