Hello,

I've created a PDF form using the latest Acrobat version. After distributing the form to my respondents 2 weeks ago I had several problems like some of you in this forum, e.g. many persons couldn't open the file etc. But I dont want to discuss about that. There is another much more serious problem:

Since this 2 weeks I have only received 8 responses. Now I have followed up the process by calling the persons, to whom the form was sent. And many of them replied, that they have already sent back the form to me by pressing "Submit form" on the first page. But I haven't receive any of these responses. There are no emails in my mailbox and no notification in the Acrobat Tracke or somewhere else.

After submittig, the form was automatically sent and they didn't got the chance to save it to their desktop. So now they would have to complete the form again and even though I'm not sure whether I will ever receive the responses!! Where have the responses gone? I would be glad if you could give me a hint about where to find the root of the problem.

BR

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro Extended 9.1.1, Windows

If outlook or other email program don't work on your end user's computer, the button "Submit form" can't send email to you . I think so.

Are your users using Reader?

If so you will have to send them a special version of the PDF form with "Extended Reader From Rights" emabled. See the FAQs at the top of this forum for inforation about how to have Rader save forms.
