Can't set form field properties

I'm using Acrobat Pro 9.3.1. When I create a form field, I can't set the properties of the field. Sometimes I get a "Bad Parameter" error message, and sometimes it just crashes the whole program. I've tried starting from a brand new, blank document right in Acrobat and get the same result. Any thoughts?

The symptoms sound to me like a messed up installation.

You might try to repair Acrobat (menu Help --> Repair Acrobat Installation), and see whether that works. Updating the Acrobat version may also help. If everything fails, reinstall Acrobat.Hope this can help.
