Change Font and color with typewritter tool

I'm fairly new to Acrobat but is there a way to change the font and color of text that is inserted with the typewritter tool?

I'm using 8.1.2 Standard

Hi ARA,

No, the Typewriter Tool is pretty simplistic, like a "real" typewriter in that you get only one color (black) and font(Courier). You do have options on the Typewriter toolbar for increasing and decreasing the size of the text and if you right click on the text you get a context menu where you can choose a couple options like Bold, Italic, etc.

For more control of text attributes you can use the TouchUp Text Tool.
