I have inherited a PDF form which is currently entered w/o benefit of a keyboard, i.e using pencil or pen. On trying to convert it to an interactive AP version 8 document, I found that the 'automatic' field generator as I call it did not seem to see the numerous checkbox fields the original authors had created. As I look at them, they are a bit small, though I could not give your their exact dimensions. So, my question to you would be, what are the minimum (and maximum) dimensions a checkbox needs be to be automatically converted to an interactive checkbox using this product. I have no exposure to Adobe Acrobat Pro, so my follow-up question to you is, can the checkboxes be resized using this product?
There is no minimum size for the fields.
Part 2 of your question: Yes, you certainly can resize the check boxes.
Follow these steps:
1. Choose Tools > Forms > Show Forms Toolbar to display the tools.2. Click the Check box tool and you see the fields on your form are active.
3. Click one field to make it active, and display the resize handles. Drag from a corner or side to resize the field.
4. Ctrl-click/Shift-click to select all the fields you want to resize. All but one of the fields will display a blue frame and resize handles. Notice that the selected check box below your mouse pointer has a red frame and resize handles.
5. Move your mouse to the resized check box; when it shows the red frame, right-click to open the shortcut menu.
6. Choose Size > Both to resize the set of check boxes.donna.
