Clearing Fields in Reader

Hello All, I am trying out eval copy of Acrobat Pro. I have added fillable fields to existing PDF form and added a Reset Form action button. The clear options seems to work fine in Acrobat Prod.

However, when I go into Adobe Reader and try to clear all the fields using my Reset Form action button some of the fields are not being cleared.

I have verified the fields appear in the of fields to be cleared.

Is this because I am using eval copy? Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks.

What is often not realised is that the reset form command doesn't actually delete the contents of fields. What it does is 'reset' to the fields default value (what ever that may be). In a lot of cases when the field is created there is nothing in the default value (under the Options tab) so when the submit button is pressed the result is an empty field.

Check whether the fields that are not clearing have anything in their default value window. If they are empty I'm at a loss as to any further explanation.

Thanks for the suggestion. I verified that the fields default value is blank. I tried to call Adobe support but no luck since I have not purchased the product yet. Open to any other suggestions.

Could there be an issue caused by the auto cache and auto complete features?

Is the field calculation order correct?
