Combining Acrobat Forms with LiveCycle

Can I produce a document that uses both? I prefer to use the acrobat forms but would like to add an image field in one spot on the last page is I've tried opening my document in livecycle and it converts everything into that style so I'm assuming not.

But if I made the last page with LiveCycle and then merge the two documents would that work?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 8.1.3, Windows

Nope, AcroForms (Acrobat) and XFA-Forms (LiveCycle) are quite another cup of tea.

Hi nahpishtim,

No, you cannot combine an XFA PDF with an Acrobat PDF in one single file. However, you could put the two separate files (one XFA and one AcroForm) in a PDF Portfolio and deliver them as one package. There are lots of resources here at AUC on Portfolios- videos, tutorials, articles, etc. Spend a bit of time checking those out as it may fit your needs.

Hope this helps,

Dimitri
