I have a pdf form that every time it opens, the comments box opens even though there are no comments. It's easy to close but it is annoying to people having to open it. How do I close it permanently?

There is a Preference to "automatically open comment pop-ups for comments other than notes". Edit --> Preferences --> Commenting panel. If this is checked than any comment pop-up will automatically open when you open the document.Double-check to make sure "any" type of comment is not in the document by opening the Comment Navigation pane (even Typewriter insertions and Text Boxes appear as comments). Alternatively you can open the Content Nagivation pane and click on the hierarchy of the page just to make sure no Comments are on the page (an entry titled Annotation will appear if this is the case).
Hope this helps,
Lori
